It’s all about Asian cuisine on this episode of Today’ Special with Busola.
This week, Busola’s food adventure takes her to the Hot Pot Chinese Restaurant at the Lagos Oriental Hotel.
The show kicks off with Sharon Castillion of the Hot Pot Chinese restaurant walking us through the Hot Pot which is an ancient cuisine.
The most interesting part about this stew-like recipe, asides the fact that it’s super healthy, is that it is self-preparatory, meaning the various ingredients are laid out and the diner cooks the meal themselves in a hot simmering pot laid on the table.
Ingredients laid out include sea weed, crab, broccoli, lamb, prawns, tomatoes, sweet potato and the Nigerian-grown edible mushroom called black fungus.
As is the usual practice on the show, Busola is joined by the guest who happens to be Big Brother Africa runner-up, Tayo Faniran.
